Collected Information:

Customers of the Service will be using the Site to host data and information (“Data”).This “Data” includes confidential data such as client and prospect lists, and employee data provided to d4d under the strictest expectation of confidentiality. d4d will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as may be required by law. d4d will not provide information to companies the Customer has not authorized, and d4d will not permit the companies that get such information to sell and redistribute it under any circumstances without Customer’s prior consent. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of the Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law.

When you access and interact with one of our websites or client or partner websites, we may collect certain information often referred to as “clickstream data.” Such data may include the type of Internet browser and operating system you are using, the pages and information you accessed on our site, the total time spent on our site, and the domain name of the website from which you linked to our site. Also, where you have previously identified yourself in the registration process as affiliated with a particular business or organization, we may record the fact that a representative of your business or organization visited the site, along with other clickstream data concerning that visit. At times, d4d may ask for more specific contact information to be entered as a means of registration before accessing a certain part of the site. d4d uses this information to understand its visitors and, with permission, to provide visitors with updates on the company and its products. A visitor may always option to not enter any information about themselves.

Cookies:

d4d uses session cookies containing encrypted information to allow the system to uniquely identify you while you are logged in. This information allows d4d. to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies help us make sure you are who you say you are after you’ve logged in and are required in order to use the d4d application. d4d uses persistent cookies, that only d4d can read and use, to identify the fact that you are an d4d customer or prior d4d Website visitor (whatever the case may be). We are especially careful about the security and confidentiality of the information stored in persistent cookies. For example, we do not store account numbers or passwords in persistent cookies. Users who disable their Web browsers’ ability to accept cookies will be able to browse our Website but will not be able to successfully use our service.

When you browse the d4d website, you are able to do so anonymously. Generally, we don’t collect personal information when you browse — not even your email address. Your browser, however, does automatically tell us the type of computer and operating system you are using. Like many websites, the d4d website uses “cookie” technology. When you first connect to our site, the cookie identifies your browser with a unique, random number. The cookies we use do not reveal any personal information about you. Cookies help us understand which parts of our websites are the most popular, where our visitors are going, and how long they spend there. We use cookies to study traffic patterns on our site so we can make the site even better. In some of our email to you, we use a “click-through URL.” When you click one of these URLs, you pass through our web server before arriving at the website that is your destination. We track click-throughs to help us determine your interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications.

Also, where specific programs associated with our websites require a user ID and password, you have the option of requesting that we save your user ID and password so that you will not have to re-enter that information the next time you access the website. This function is accomplished by the placement of a cookie, or is handled by the web browser technology you are using, such as Firefox, or Windows Internet Explorer. With most Internet browsers, you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please refer to your browser instructions or help screen to learn more about these functions. Please be aware, however, that some features and programs of our websites may be unavailable to you if cookies are erased or blocked.

Some uses of cookies in connection with our websites and partner/client websites may be under the control of unaffiliated entities that the Company retains for the management of certain programs and fulfillment of specific visitor/customer requests. The Company requires these entities to confine their use of cookies to the uses permitted by this Policy, but the Company cannot be responsible for third party uses of cookies.

Security:

Our Site has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Data under our control. d4d implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts the Site in a secure server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. The Company takes measures to prevent unauthorized intrusion to its websites and the alteration, acquisition or misuse of personal information by unauthorized persons.
